A 90's arcade game by Tecmo, Wild Fang is one of the most enjoyable and challenging games I played. This game is hard. The enemy AI is really challenging, and just two of them could give you a nightmare. There are screens filled with monsters, and "divide and rule" works fairly well, if you can manage to do that.

  • @caramelLatteMmm: Wild Fang and Tecmo Knight is the same game but released under different name. Wild Fang is the Japanese release, whereas Tecmo Knight is the international release.

@igorcezarandrade: You can use an emulator like Mame to play this game. Just google for Mame, and then you have to load the game ROM with it. Send me a private message if you have troubles doing this.

  • for 1989, this game was violent, as the enemies would get busted open when they were about to die. but what could anyone expect from the same company that defined shocking with Ninja Gaiden's buzzsaw continue screen.

  • Anybody have this game to send me the link to download?

    Tks!!!!

  • Hi mate - great playthrough - it is difficult...nice skills.

Do you know if there are any difference between Wild Fang and Tecmo Knight...I read on KLOV that wild fang is a copy of Tecmo Knight...

Any info appreciated :-) (I'm just wondering thats all)

  • @figment1988 Yes, but I love their hardware from 1988-1995, and that was the TECMO 16 hardware. They were awesome on composing the music for the games using either the YM2203 or the YM2151 sound chips. I feel that TECMO was the best on FM synth soundtracks than on the SNES or NES, and therefore they should've made more games on the Genesis.

  • you're a good player but you should use the grapple attacks more..if you are good you can chain them and jump from head to head

  • @samcwic Yes, I remeber it too but already as a young man ... cruel picture

  • I remember playing this at the 49th Street Galleria in Salt Lake City (gone now, alas). I was amazed by how bloody it was. Even the idle animations when the game wasn't being played were bloody, with monsters ripping one man's head off and crushing a woman's skull. When I first saw it, there was a little boy nearby who had to be under ten years old, just staring at the machine in horror.

  • this was a fun game but that is the funniest, stupidest soundtrack ive ever heard starting @ 0:06

  • This game RULES! Thanks for the walkthrough! :-D

No jump attacks tho? Beheading the enemy was the best part of the game! :-(
