If your looking for old cigar boxes to make a guitar out of you can usually find them for a few dollars at a craft store. those plain wooden boxes use for jewelry boxes also work. you can also use old gas cans or cookie tins.

You do not need frets. I used a scale chart, and drew lines on the neck with a pencil to mark where I need to be.

Hi, Love the guitar. Just a quick question. If it had 6 strings would the neck need to be reinforced.
