As someone who is not involved with public safety, I have to say, these videos share with the public an inside look into not only how you guys do your jobs, but how you get this heavy equipment there. Your lives are in danger from the minute you leave the station until you get back. Thanks to all who answer these calls. Thanks for protecting our lives and property at 4AM or 4PM. Professional or volunteer, you ALL have my deepest thanks.

Hi,
I have a few questions for fire fighters.
1.Do you guys use a GPS to find the house?
2.How come fire trucks respond to medical emergencies, for example.I had 3 seizures, and each time I had one, not only did the ambulance come, but the fire truck came too.And when my brother passed out, a fire truck arrived first.

actually we were called for a house fire. i think we were the 3rd engine on scene. usual response times are 2-3min i think.
