@67TRUCK67 Not positive, but I'd have to guess they did that so the Ladder could get to the scene first and be able to safely and appropriately park should they have to use the ladder. Also if they Engine needs to catch a hydrant before the building, they won't be blocking the ladder from continuing up to the scene should they have to stop at the hydrant.

There might be a simple answer to this question but why did the engine stop and let the truck go first? Any reason?
