Whoopi Goldberg said in The View that she would like to be Ambassador to Budapest,Hungary if asked by the new Obama administration.Former Hungarian Ambassador of Hungary to the US, Andras Simonyi endorsed the idea in a video from Budapest made by former Consul General in Los Angeles, Szabolcs Kerék-Bárczy.

Just found this video In itself it isn't really good, but just to make sure I can make my point Hungary is a great place. And that despite what (most) Hungarians will say if asked. And I say that being a citizen from a Western European country (France).

I beg to differ. Hungary's situation in the European Union, at the moment, is rather important, due to the ethnic parameters of Central Europe. Also, it played a key role in the end of the Iron Curtain
