Hey Donald, i'm debating whether or not to buy seeds for these type of onions. Would they grow to the same size as yours in Canada?

@webcajun This may be a bit unorthodox, but what if I order the seeds and start all of them inside so it would be alot cheaper for me? Or would that even work that well?

@webcajun What type of onions are these? You said candy, is that the name or the variety. I live in Ga. so I thought that we may have nearly the same temps. Yours look beautiful. I would really like to grow this type.When do you start yours?

@gardenmist216 … The variety/name is “Candy”. It’s a sweet day neutral onion so it can be grown anywhere. I plant seeds in the fall and transplants in Feb-Mar……Donald
