@2002201052 You dont wear gloves near a flame because they are flammable!!!!

Can you grow bacteria directly in a broth to put it in a Haemocytometer? I haven't been able to find any videos...
-
after the bacteria has grown in the dish, how can you determine what kind it is? what do you do next?
-
You should only be using 1 hand to maintain the cap.
-
please wear gloves to make it realistic =P

Almost had a fit watching this. Firstly, flame your loop from chuck to loop head at a 45 degree angle. DON'T SHAKE IT. The second it cools down, bacteria can go back on it, and the more you swoosh it through the air, the more chance of contamination occuring. If you want to cool it down, touch the agar in the STERILE plate. Also, I don't know if flicking the tube is common practice but it could end in tears. And no microbiologists tend to avoid gloves due to working with fire 90% of the time.

Nice. Gloves are overrated

you should wear gloves and you should also open the culture tube with one hand. but you probably can't open it with one hand because that takes skill
