  • @taxo I've owned a couple of Blackstar amps for over a year now and had no problem with them. Korea hs been a heavily industrialized nation for many years now, think Kia, Hyundai, Samsung, LG etc. Epiphone, ESP, PRS and others have all made great guitars there at some stage. They have the skills and the systems to produce quality goods.

  • Too much talking going on to really listen to the amps properly. :(

  • @VKzGibson never tried a blackmore >.<

  • @taxo yeah your are right but which one sounds better to you?

  • @VKzGibson but still dunno how to consider the "korean made" fact....I mean..i've a korean schecter hellraiser, which is a marvellous guitar..so I can say "ok,BS are korean made,so they cost 1000€+ because of this, they should cost more! But,at the same time i think "for the same price i can get an ENGL blackmore, which is made in germany and not somewhere in asia,so better reliability"...

  • @taxo :)

  • @VKzGibson ahahaha got it man :DD effectively you're right :D

  • @taxo yeah there is not a huge difference that's why they have the same name with the oldies :D man let your ears decide what's the best! remember that the most expensive amps out there have el34's! ok that doesnt mean that they are the best but..... :p

  • @VKzGibson Oh so not a extremely huge difference...i mean, they caan still be considered the same amp!

Still I can't decide between the el34one and the 6l6...everyone tells me the el34 one is sterile and thin>_> but hey,I was sure you are a metalhead :DD

  • @taxo also powerball&fireball II have a darker sound with more bottom end! but they can still sound like the old ones cause they have a footswitchable midboost!also they have independend gain controls for each channel and there are some other small features(in the powerball)! the main difference between fireball I & II is that the first one has 60w power and the second one has 100w power!

try the el34 head its really awesome but i still like the 6l6 better! that's the reason -> metalhead\m/ :P
