Excelle has more than 15 years of entrepreneurial and managerial experience at Fortune 500 companies and technology start-ups in Silicon Valley. As a business strategist and marketing consultant, she has helped many technology companies successfully enter new markets by developing market entry strategies, effective positioning, messaging and marketing execution plans.
Excelle was a co-founder and vice president of corporate marketing of GlobalSight Corporation, a provider of Globalization Management Systems (GMS). Under her marketing leadership, the company created a brand new technology space, generated significant market awareness and clearly established its leadership position in the marketplace. GlobalSight was ranked by Red Herring and Upside magazine as one of 2000's Top 50 Private Technology Companies. As part of the senior management team, Excelle was instrumental in raising $48 million in venture capital, growing the company from zero revenue to a multi-million run-rate and developing reference customer relationships with Cisco, GE, HP and Merrill-lynch.
Earlier in her career, Excelle was a regional marketing manager, Asia Pacific for Scott Paper/Kimberly Clark Company. There she drove market entry strategy for the China market, launched numerous major product lines simultaneously in six Asian countries and participated in the product development process across a global functional team.
Excelle holds an M.B.A., International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
