i use vandoren v12 s and vandoren blue box. .... vandoren is my fav. brand of reed. i have never had a problem with them...

I use the Vandoren foil packed ZZ and everyone I find blows really well...

Used to use the V16 but found playing probs with a few in a box of 10...

Very interested in trying these, so tired of getting 2 good reeds in a box of 10 at best. Have you tried other synthetic brands and found these to be the best? Much appreciated.

After years of struggeling with cane reeds i eventualy stumbled on FIBRACELL synthetic reeds. It felt a little diffirent at first but the sound was great. I has saved me a lot of money, but more importantly has given me peace of mind. I know i'm going to get a good and consistent sound every gig. No worries about the reed going soft at a crucial moment.
