Business fraternities and even cheerleaders are hazed. Also ppl who keep saying, I hang around Greeks a lot...that doesn't mean you know the ins and outs of greek life. You know what ppl allow you to know. Being Greek has not made me go astray from God and please stop talking about worshipping false idols etc....couldn't be further from the truth!

Granted this video is old but I still wanted to comment. Leaving the door open for ppl who are not a part of a Greek lettered org if a bad ideas in my opinion. Almost every post was based on assumption, personal experience, biases and not really facts. People brought up hazing but being a senior in college I know that most campus orgs haze, isnt limited to Black Greeks or Greeks at all for that matter. I've gone to both an HBCU and a predominately white school where I know that honor societies,

And having said that. There is no real reason to join a greek organization no more than there is a real reason to join a church or eat at a certain restaurant or date someone. You have stated correctly Greek organizations except the Deltas(they have service in their charter) is a social organization. If you have a hard time meeting new people then this may be something for you. And lastly, there are more than 9 greek organizations.

These organization lose a lot of good people because of the violence. People have the attendence to see more of the hazing than community service because it is brought to the attention by news media.

I like this video and I wish a lot of people who have crossed over can see this. When it comes to Hazing it's an everyday thing whether we like to admit to it or not. I feel like as a prospect or gdi it's best we do our research. People have to understand when you plan on JOINING ANY ORG understand it's a business.
