Press TV exposes the spin machine of western powers, which have branded Iran's announcement to expand its civilian nuclear capabilities as a "provocation" and a "prelude to war".

French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner said Iran is "playing with fire", forgetting that it was France which very early, in the 1950s, plaid with fire while supplying Israel with its first nuclear reactor, thanks to which the zionist regime built its nuclear weapons stockpiles, a factor destabilizing the whole West and South Asian regions. Likewise forgotten is the fact that during the NPT review conferences of 1995 and 2000, the nuclear armed states agreed to disarm themselves progressively. However, these promises were not acted upon, as the USA, UK or France have been expanding and enhancing their nuclear weapons arsenals.

Double standards thus seem to prevail, whereby one country is being punished simply for pursuing peaceful nuclear technology, while others are allowed to possess nuclear weapons unpunished.

  • well done press tv well sed.

  • Iran is a beautifull country and has a lot of potential. If you look at some of the old videos in Iraqi cities, things looked good and people smiled quite a bit more than they do now. I would hate to see those same smiles in Iran, to see those nice streets and ambitions, to see all that go up in smoke as the crazy zionists lose patience and launch a world war. It's better to compromise now, to hold onto our dreams and hopes, then it's to turn inward and sink down in despair. We can't give up.

  • If Iran acts reponsibly and doesn't turn to hostility, maybe things can work out when we get a democrat into the US administration. Obama still might win. However, this does not mean Iran can do whatever it wants. There's wayyy too much bias in america against iran for iran to take chances. Like I've said in another post, the only news we hear in the USA on our news is the iranian leader saying he wants to wipe israel off the map. My hope is that Obama will win, and Iran will do its part.
