Bush has understood that the rising EU, Russia,Middle East,China and Iran are all the future challengers of American world dominance. Ordinary Americans may not appreciate why he did what he did but future historians with more uncovered facts will know whether he succeeded in controlling and denying at will Iraqi oil to these power contenders and damaging their economies,though at great cost to US.
