@AnaestheticGas You Can Use An Apophysis Clone For The Mac Called ApoMac - It's Available At DeviantArt Through The Member hebejebelus. It Works Under The Leopard OS.

I Do Something Similar But I Use Fractron 9000 And Photo Elements To Create Fractal Art Compositions That Aren't Abstract But Look Like Painted Scenes Of World, Fantasy Art, Dreamscapes And Epic Creations

@FlamedIdea I haven't used Apophysis in years, but I remember the quality being tied to a setting like "samples" or "jitter" -- the higher the setting, the better the quality. As for the lack of background, I think that's determined by the format you save in. I have another tutorial called "Apophysis Tutorial, Saving and Rendering Your Flames" which might help you in these matters.

I am not very familiar with photoshop, and I am very confused when you say to turn the background black and all you do is press some buttons that I cannot see... Can you please tell me how to do it?

@Vedant002 on PC you press Alt+Backspace, or Ctrl + Backspace, it's the same as doing edit >> fill, with foreground and background colors.

Hi , I just downloaded apophysis for use with photoshop but all my randomly generated fractals look really grainy and low res. What can I do to improve the detail and quality ?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's in the settings of the export. Turn up the samples, or quality. I'll have to look closer later, as I don't remember off the top of my head.
If it comes down to it, I may do a tutorial later on export settings.
