Although this isn't my favorite of Podkapayeva's routines, she is always fantastic an beautiful. She rocked everything she ever did. She was the best gymnast ever!

@mmoran3 It wasn't Maria Olaru, it was Claudia Presecan, Corina Ungureanu and Lavinia...just because I think it's wrong to wrongly malign Maria.

@mrpatriot83 I sort of agree, but men's routines aren't meant to be aristic like the women's. Its more based on strength and I can't imagine some of those huge beefcake men prancing around and doing dance elements on the floor....LOL

Why would the Romanians be demoralized because of injuries? It's not like they faked ages on passports, or anything - cough, Chinese during 2000 games, cough. Just saying that there are a lot worse things they could do to bring shame to their country. I'm not being disrespectful, just wondering how the girls deal with so much pressure, must be brutal, but at least they have each other's support and encouragement.

USA can make from Romanians such poor kids, and I bet they have never seen the place. Maybe they do not have such rich gyms and highly paid staff and beautifull malls, but certainly we can find kids living on streets in so "wonderful" America as well!

There is something that is bizarre: Lilia got a floor score on part 2 and she is performing now, and the americans were done on beam last part and they didn't even start here...? Is there a problem with the numbering of the parts?
