@henleythecat I have worked in US presidential campaigns ever since McGovern '72 (and he was--and is--far better than anyone running for President now except Ron Paul), so let me give you some perspective: (1) Both the Demo and Repub parties are owned by special interests and elites. (2) Do not get trapped into the binary of thinking "Demo good, Repub bad." (3) Read "Who Rules America Now?" by Domhoff to understand what I'm talking about. medicare d is nothing but a privatized scam. the gov't subsidizes drugs by paying pharmaceutical giants with your tax dollars, but aren't allowed to negotiate the price they pay.
have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? the prices YOU pay for drugs are 60% higher because of this deregulation. and these idiots, or more accurately the idiots who vote for them bitch and moan about the deficit...?!

The GOP primary race has mainly been Republican candidates attacking basic modern Republican ideologies.
