These guys have always been my Heroes, I was in Lake Placid two years ago the first thing I wanted to see was the famous arena where it all took place. I sat in that now empty arena for what must have been for a half an hour just trying to take it all in.

As a Canadian I gotta give you Americans major props on beating that Soviet team! We got em in '72 (Summit series) and you got em in '80!

this is amazing i have seen miracle many times and its amazing how herb has a reason for everything he does like choosing not the best ones but the right ones and by the way my bestfriends uncle is bill baker the oral surgeon and billy schneider is the son of buzz schneider whom he plays in the movie

amen. Both nations are the same talent wise and neither would be as good as they are without the other. It's like a north vs south / east vs west type of scenario between Canada and USA today. Thanks to the NHL, our continent holds the greatest hockey players in the world.

im never going to live it down... it was an exaggeration to make a point... the point being that generally the overall canadian population has more hockey ability than in america...maybe it's the colder weather, maybe it's just the way things are culturally... after 1980, hockey started to flourish in the US... canada has alot more than 30 years.... is all... holy cow

Its so true if you play like a team doesnt matter how much talent you have, we've heard this before with usa and if they play like this next three games no telling what they'lll do, and theyre saying the right things tell me this gsme didnt mean shit until after they win
