You people don't understand, the point of these videos is to help cure a condition called hikkomori in japan where teens isolate themselves for years afraid of human contact. this was made for them to watch every morning, at the end she says good morning.

I understand the hikikomori condition, but how does something like this help it?

Because they've been isolated from all people that videos like this make it easier to imagine theyre with a real person and able to look them in the eyes to prepare them to go out into the real world.

I think someone with that condition should go and seek therapy. The video does seems like a good first step.

Why would someone want those people back into society? Let them rot in their own waste.
