1. What's greater than god,
more evil than the devil,
rich people want it,
poor people have it
and if you eat it you'll die.

2. It's the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space,
the beginning of every end
and the end of every place.
What is it?

3. Each morning I appear to lie at your feet.
All day I follow you, even if you run.
But by midday I almost perish.
What am I?

4.With thieves I consort,
the vilest in short,
I'm quite at ease in depravity,
yet all divines use me,
and savants can't lose me,
for I am the centre of gravity.
What is my true form?
