Breaking: Monorail Crash in Disney World

- Two monorails have collided in Disney World in Orlando, FL leaving one person dead (the driver).

get all the facts before you report on something. both mono rails were moving. purple was coming into the station and pink was reversing thinking he had changed tracks as imformed by shop. both parties had to overide their saftey systems in order to move. both had clearance to do so as it was assumed they were on seperate tracks. pink was supposedly heading back to shop for the night but the switch track never engaged and he remained on the epcot line unknowingly.

This is only the initial report in the morning. Not much was known about the crashes, and from many things that were being reported, this is what had happened. After the fact, sources confirmed that what you had described was the case.

In all honesty, Disney doesn't allow people to do their jobs without first giving them all the training they need to effectively and safely do their job. This Cast Member had all the proper training. Just because people are paid minimum wage doesn't mean that they don't enjoy what they do or take it seriously. He probably took his job just as seriously as a member of a Hazmat team, despite the lower pay.

the thing is the command post was not on there post which when we arrived the extrction was probly uselesss because he would of died intantly

And this is immature and random, but has anyone ever been on a monorail in disney world and somebody farts????? ugh its terrible. that happened 2 me twice in one trip. but i guess im lucky the monorail didnt crash.

almost all theme park employees are minimum wage, think about that next time your lowering the safety bar on the 60mph coaster your getting on.

First of all he was full time and has been driving the for ever so get you news straigt and he was a darn good driver too it was the monarail fault so really i would stop talking about things you dont know!!!!!! OH and little training they have to train for like 2 months before they can drive them self!!!!
