Glad to see something other than guidos coming up when I searched for "jersey shore".
I remember that kind of blitzing when I fished off the end of Armstrong ave here in Staten Island. We ended up running into the water with our shoes on to cast further out, just as the school of blues retreated.
@Gtrplyr1 thats how the bluefish trap the smaller fish to eat them. Typically they surround them and push them to the top of the water so they have nowhere to go but here it looks like they pushed them to the shore. pretty smart ah?
Thanks man, thats interesting. I have never seen anything like that. Reminds me of the "sardine run" with the dolphins, sea bird, sharks etc, and in this case the fishers are the whales who just totally take advantage of the situation :)
