Before making the film "Siddhwarth"(English), Conrad Rooks, Director of the film came to India to incorporate some beautiful songs from India & after listening to lots of songs , he chose two songs from the Bengali film "Neel Akaasher Niche".The other song he incorporated in the said film was"Neel Akaasher Niche Ei Prithhibee, Aar Prithhibeer Pore Oi Neel Akaash...."

This song I heard on Doordarshan in 'Phul khile hai gulshan gulsha. He mentioned that this song was also included in the famous film 'Sidharh". I also had pleasure of listening Hemant kumar live at concerts in Mumbai. I always felt that It is difficult to believe that some can have such a soothing voice and the ability to set a song to music after it was written and not vice versa. Thanks!
