I've been trying without success to find a lady between 30-45 that is not fat, alcoholic, mental patient, drug head to come live here rent free with private room and bath and cooked meals for free. Just take care of me and do some light house work. Nice modern country home that's paid for. I have vehicles and resources. I'm a good dude even considered attractive. Yet, no takers because they are all drug heads, alcoholic, mental patients or too heavy. Golden opportunity for the right lady.

I think we need a world change in order to have a real government that be sure that all the people in the world have home and a way to survive. Tha sadest thing i that there are enought resources in the planet for every human being, but they are in the control of a few powerful hands. Why do we allow that a few decide the fate of the rest of the human kind?

I am homeless in Amsterdam and am presently living in a transit centre . I have been chosen as the spokesman for Netherlands , to speak on behalf of all our homeless people , at the International European conference for the homeless which will be held in Copenhagen on 22-24 October 2009. Our aim is to put pressure on our local as well as the European parliament to deal with this ever growing problem . The government turns a blind eye and should be sued for dereliction of duty.

Me and my husband have been homeless and we were not the ones who chose for it ourselves. We had a bad landlord (long story) and I didn't have any income cause of my ADD no one would hire me. In the Netherlands you get money if you can't work and that's what I get now. I never want to be homeless again, but I do have learned to not disrespect homeless anymore.

Some,and I say some, are people suffering from broken marriages and have given up on life. In London, England, we have the Salvation Army that uisually offer them a meal and a hot drink, and a limited home sor the Christmas period. This kin d of people have lost it, if they only remain in touch, helkp is there but they have to seek it, it will not drop in their lap, they have to make effort to be helped.

One of my best friends and co-writer of some pretty cool songs was homeless, living in an old camper on the back of an old ford truck. He never pan handled, drank, did drugs or felt sorry for himself. He's been successful in life and then lost it all, he's shined shoes and did just about everything unimaginable to stay afloat on the unkind streets of LA. Check out my video "Another Mans Junk" he's in the first shot. My wife and I helped him find a safe harbor to park and we see him daily.

Dude my brother was skateboarding down the sidewalk to go to the YMCA to work out and this homless guy popped out and scared him and he dislocated his shoulder it was halarious lol

Studies have shown that the overwhelming majority of homeless in the UK are either mentally ill, drug addicts, alcoholics, or in most cases all three. They receive a lot of money begging but almost all of it is spent on drugs. You should not give them money, you are merely fuelling their addiction. Former homeless drug addicts will tell you not to give them money.
