@benwhatling2810 I do army cadets my self, Giving the threat of pressups is just another sentence to be honnest you dont want them so it encourages you to do better. Totaly agree but still pressups boo :D

sounds like your acting smart by saying ''i'll give you press-ups''.. that aint teaching them nothing friend. If they forget to do something tell them and explain why and if they do it again, go throught the drill with them again. Don't punish them. just saying fella.

i see what you mean man, its basically negative encouragment, basically they dont wanna do press ups so will do better. not actually giving them press and wil constanly warn them of the threat of pressups but never giving them still works the same, repeats of the drill are constantly given if needed but cadets being who they are and are often stubben will automatically correct themselves.....
