  • There was and never will be another Uncle Ralph

  • Marcus if this you putting these on YOuUTube, please find something with Aunt Daisy! The scriptures read by her would send the church through the roof! Share with the world FCD's great history! Everybody copied their style from coast to coast, FCD set the standard for the order of worship for so many churches. Also, if you have some of Sallie Martin, let us see! Love yall!

  • This is priceless! The late Virginia Johnson singing in her 80's... Look at God! Her voice was still strong. I remember this service as if it were yesterday. She's in that heavenly Choir now - singing and praising God for bringing her as He did - "A mighty long way!" "Thanking Him for His love, so rich , so full and so free!' Thanks for posting these nuggets!

  • @VantisDoroHall: Thanks so much for the info! I heard a broadcast from a while back with Veronica James singing "Brighter Day Ahead," which is on YouTube. Her voice sounds very similar to the lady singing in this video. That's why I thought the lady in this video was Veronica. Either way, I love both of their voices. I do have the album recording of "We've Come A Long Way" and it's really nice! I believe I've uploaded that to YouTube also!

  • @Rowoches There is a Veronica James who now sings a "Brighter Day Ahead". But Virgina Johnson sang it back in the 60s. Virginia has gone on now.

  • She is one of my favorite soloists. I love when she sings "Brighter Day Ahead."

I always thought that her name was Veronica James.
