The best part is the transformation from the real box in the hand of the boy to the cg one; how did u do it?

I' ve made a CG box using photos of the real one as textures. In compositing I've masked out the real box with a fake boy's shadow. This was done frame by frame to recreate the boy shadow for covering the box (lay in the ground). Becouse the action is focused in the robot arm, you look at that and not to shadow...and the trick is not too bad. Thanks for comment!

wow thats nice !! ... HDRI lightning would be better i think ... but its really nice made ... which software did you use ?

I used 3dmax 8 and rendered with brazil R/S. Compositing with aftereffects 7. I agree with you about HDRI but for this little project I used a direct light for sun and GI. Thanks for comment!
