Brian Johnson 14 Ks in 6 innings 3.6.09

Cocoa Beach HS senior Brian Johnson struck out 14 batters in 6 innings vs Space Coast HS on March 6, 2009.
Johnson gave up one hit and faced just one batter over the minimum as he left with a 3-0 lead. Of course Space Coast ties it up in the 7th and he gets a no-decision! CB won the game 4-3 in 8 innings. Johnson finished with 72 pitches.
Johnson, the reigning Florida Today Baseball Player of the Year and ranked in the Baseball America Top 100, will be pitching for the University of Florida next year.
