could you please tell my how your shiftline is at 5k to 6k an mine is at 4k 2 5k

well first, is it an automatic? and if not, what happens when you try to go past 5k?

its a 5spd manual. when i hit 4k to 5k rpm it just refuses to go any higher. that has to be the rev limitor right?

well a couple months ago i had an issue where my intake was actually getting sucked up against the hood after about 4k of my car because it came loose and ya. after it hit 4k ish it just stopped accelerating and made some weird noises. all i had to do was go to an auto part store and get some 2 dollar pieces to latch it back down. id check to see if your intake is loose. it wouldnt be the rev limiter unless its messed up

theres something i just cant make myself understand. why do people hate on the 2000 to 2005 eclipse? the 2g eclipse is easyer to mod and comes stock awd and turbo where the 3g doesnt come stock with a turbo and is fwd but thats no reason to talk crap 24-7 and dont even get me started on the idiots that do the evo engine swap with the 3g eclipse. stop complaining about the cost of tuning a 3g eclipse and just do it. who cares about the stupid dsm. there out dated anyway

fast is an opinion you uneducated high school drop out prick. Lets say Bob drives a tractor, and a F150 pulls up next to him. I am pretty sure Bob will think the F150 is pretty darn fast compared to tractor. I could think a car is fast to MY standards, but you can think something is slow compared to YOUR standards.

@rizegraymon1 You are right they are chick cars, but i like to impress the ladies not the boys. I dont swing that way sorry bro. My girlfriend loves my car, i might give it to her when i get a ms3. So I dont mind driving a "chick" car cause more girls would look twice at a 3g eclipse than a civic or corolla or most other shit boxes ppl are driving around.

Get em just right, you can hit 6.7-6.8 on em, not bad for a stock 210hp v6 given the weight. The torque curve is fantastic and the high end feels less restrained (vs the GT), and the more aggressive gear ratios also help as well.

You just wasted 2 gallons of fuel which equals to $8 in 29 seconds which also equals 1 hour of work at the local Buger King joint. :)

@shanelovedove get a motorcycle you can do 60 in first gear! being able to go x speed in a gear doesn't mean its fast, it just has long gear ratios. and a 7 second 0-60 is not bad for a stock car.
