it makes it a real pain, I was on our last unit to the scene, and we found a mutual aid engine had slid off the icy road into a ditch, we stopped to make sure they were ok. at the fire, I went around to the rear of the building with a 2 1/2" line and had to pack down a trail through the snow so we could get there
my bad! so sorry! i just get angered by people who know nothing about the service and think they can do it better than us. im sure you guys get the same thing. but no, it was caused by an electrical malfunction. our station is 15 minutes away from the scene and the road was icy as it was winter time. we pulled out all interior crews when rooms began flashing over, that's why it took so long to control. it did seem to spread quickly, but no accelerants were determined by the police.
as one of the responding Guilford firefighters, this was about the average time of controling a structure fire, and if you think you can do better, we'd be more than happy to have you come down and join
I think that this house fire toke too long to get under control, was there anything unusaul about the fire spread? was it in the ceiling and no one noticed?
