The band name is spelled NOFX, not Nofx, not NO-FX, not No Fx, or NoFx. They had an ep early on where the record label (not the one the band owns now) printed it wrong. People have been getting it wrong ever since on a regular baiss.

Think what you want my opinion on punk rock bands such as No Fx or Rancid is that since they're still expressing different ideas than mainstream rock bands (like openly criticizing the politics and attitude of George W.Bush ) , they are real PUNKS !!! Remember also that the Sex Pistols were created to launch a fashion brand with safety needles and the codes of 70's punk street wear ....

I saw them live and they were incredible. Not perfect, and ful of mistakes, but they really are the best band at being bad. I love it.

And you dont have to like NOFX, but you must understand that Punk rock fans dont like being lectured about the meaning of punk by someone who's screen name is "Gunsnroses4lifedude".

I may not agree with what they say about religion all the time, but I don't have to. The fact that they are standing up and stating their opinions (quite boldly I might add), is great. But it's people like you that make me think the founding father's may not have made the best choice when it comes to freedom of speech. I mean...shut the fuck up!

Personally I don't care how people dress, but to openly associate yourself with something non-mainstream, is pretty non-poserly. You have to be imitating something cool to be a poser, and punk rock is not cool. Personally, I don't have the courage for it. I prefer to just play my music loud at red lights, so people will know I like punk.
