Etna - The best timelapse 2009

Il 2009 si è aperto con un eruzione già in corso, iniziata il 13 maggio 2008. La colata si sovrapponeva nella parte alta della Valle del Bove, i bracci diventavano sempre più corti fino al totale esaurimento dell'attività eruttiva il 6 luglio 2009.
Una piccola ripresa dell'attività si ha il 6 novembre 2009, esattamente quattro mesi dopo la fine dell'ultima eruzione. In un punto sul fianco del Cratere di Sud-Est si apre una piccola bocca che emette fino alla fine dell'anno un rossore continuo dovuto al riflesso del magma all'interno del condotto sulle emissioni gassose.
La maggior parte dei video sono stati creati mettendo insieme i fotogrammi di alcune webcam che 24 ore su 24 monitorizzano l'attività del vulcano.
