I just did that to my truck last week. I love the sound of it when I start it up in the parking structure after work. :)

i dont see where you would loose hp you have the cat and a muffler its a big v8 loosing the resonator will only increase the hp let that sucker breath

@FLstudioKing it wood be loud as hell .....the rumble will be deep and loud.....but loss of hp

@VenturaBlake25 resonator muffles the sound of the combustion in the engine.....no resonator means that the combustion will be coming though the pipe and to your ears as loud deep sound exhaust....but this also may mess with hp and our things

whats a resonator....i have a 2004 GMC Sierra with Flowmaster 70 and NUYSYS Intake.....whats a resonator though?

@FLstudioKing not that much louder but if its v6 dont bother .. if its not then yes, it will sound good but still fairly quiet with a bit of rumble.
