Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney held events in the same Ottumwa venue on Friday and Saturday. Huckabee's crowd was much larger.

  • Both events look full. Is Huck in a church? A college? What time was the event? Who won the Iowa Straw poll?

  • Both events were held in the same building, the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa. Huckabee's event was held in a large auditorium, and Romney's event was held in a smaller meeting room. Huckabee's event was on Friday evening and Romney's was on Saturday afternoon.

  • rvjayoung, don't give us this "know his heart" garbage again. It works soooo poorly with Putin. It's only a good response when you don't have anything substantive to say. Even the members of the conservative media can't take anything Bush says seriously.

  • yeah, The HUCKSTER is currently the liberal media darling.

How many women will vote for the Huckster when they find out he wants them to be servantly submissive to their husbands?

  • Yea, both candidates have the "Moe." Mitt has the money, Huckabee has the Momentum.

  • "More change in the next ten years as the last ten centuries" Romney...What an idoit.

  • That could have been said of Reagan, but he utilized his skills as Governor, and had some pretty good advisers. Mike has been consistent throughout his political career.

  • And he had a LOT more people than Mitt. Even the liberal press will tell you that.

  • I appreciate your opinion, however you are basing your knowledge on the liberal press, or maybe Mitt's negative adds. I have met Mike and know his heart. He is NOT trying to "Christianize" the US. He is devout about his convictions, and that is rare today. Didn't mean to come off so harsh but he is not promoting a "theocracy" but a democracy. He bespeaks the heart of our founding fathers.

  • if Huckabee weren't a Chriotian fundie he might have a chance. Americans don't want another president who "talks to god"...at least not the "god" Bush talks to. Huckabee talks to and serves the same "god" as Bush, right? You know, that "god" that told Bush to "go free those people in Iraq"...by dropping lazer-guided bombs on them.

  • I said i want hillary over huckabee, not hillary over everyone else, just huckabee.. i'm a registered republican; the hillary comment was an attempt to show how much i hate huckabee's decision making process, such that i would take socialism over theocracy.. and looking at his record it looks much more like he sided with the liberals than "fought them off."
