I remember being obsessed with this game on the Amiga... Good old Myth, had some silky smooth character animations, story based on the old greek mythologies, fantastic graphics and really got you hooked on the gameplay, hacking up evil monsters and such.

And then it becomes apparant that, if it was remade on the Amiga, then there was only one real place it could have originated from... Commodore!

And there it was, Myth on the C64, great graphics, great sound, great animations, hacking up the good old greek mythological meanies, Amiga basically carbon copied it with more up to date GFX and Sounds.

CREDITS!

The music playing during the gameplay is "NOT" from the actual game - It is a re-arranged mix taken from the "Remix64" website and was arranged by "Suvak Zajos".

Seeing as the levels had no music during the game, I felt it'd be nice to throw in something.

EDIT: I've only now just realised this fab game also appeared on the ZX Spectrum - I can safely say no matter what format it appeared on, each version was excellent.

  • You can just play this on Keyboard no problem and yes this is Emulated on PC.

  • You're all very welcome, this is sheer classy old-school gaming that a lot of us will remember for a long time.

  • cannot believe i missed out this game. Looks unbelievably advanced.

  • This game was fantastic back in the days, I use to own this on the Commodore 128! Missed the golden days of the Commodore!

  • flip sake - there's some amiga games which don't look as good as this. I'm impressed.

  • @inphanta it's not mostly about the number of colors but the KIND of colors, try to convert any Spectrum screen or game straight onto C-64 and you will get it... but I don't say that Spectrum is more colorful... the C-64 has more advanced video chip of course
