The NRA's Wayne LaPierre tells the CPAC audience that their rights and freedoms are nothing but illusions until they are "guarded by the blue steel and dry powder of a free and armed people" and that he doesn't care "if their butts pucker from here to the Potomac, the Founding Fathers understood that the guys with the guns make the rules"

What's the matter...afraid to talk union at work??? I guess you wouldn't want your co-workers to think you were disloyal to your corporate masters. At least you have your gun. That must really be helping you take care of your family.
This douche is absolutely right. The guys with the guns do make the rules. The problem is that I always see the guys with the guns making ad hoc rules, on their own, and in violation of the constitution.
Of course, "the guys with the guns" that I'm referring to are the police. I've never seen a gun (other than hunting rifles) used for any constructive purpose
Anyone with half a brain will realize that having unlimited access to guns, at best offers you limited protection from a few threats
you sir are an idiot in comparing your freedoms to a simple forest fire control method. our freedoms are preserved by guns, which are used as tools in the hands of capable people in our armed forces which protect us. when someones house is broken into or when someone is being mugged or raped, i'm pretty sure if that victim had a gun and had a clear shot they would take it... thus protecting their freedoms.

Stop bitching. Stop doing your tough guy posing.
We know all of you want guns to compensate for some inadequacies in the bedroom.
If you had some real guts, instead of obsessing about how to intimidate fictional strawmen from the ghetto, you would join a union.
Stop being racist, and lets kick some ass for the working class. UNION YES!
