  • Please support plans to retain services for the chronically mentally ill in our community.

  • Where was the county budget officer while this gigantic over-rub was happening? Who from ADMHS has lost thier job from mismanagement? The community based orgs met their budget and delivered services more efficently than county. This can't be made up in 1 year and shouldn't be put on the back of the mentally and the CBOs. Have ADMHS come back showing major admin cuts, showing at least half of the cuts at ADMHS and spreading it over at least 2 years. This also gives prop 63 a chance to kick in.

  • We cannot lose these critical programs and support services. For many it is a life or death situation. The negative impact of such budget cuts will be staggering, and many people will end up on the streets or in prison. Please help spread the word and attend the rally this Friday at Alameda Park from 2-4 pm to show your support for protecting these vital services.

  • Please help persons suffering from severe and persistent mental illness keep their homes, their jobs, their will to live.

  • If these cuts go through they will do more harm than good, the people who use these mental health services are the ones who need them the most. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THE COUNTY TO PUT THESE PEOPLE ON THE STREETS!!

  • It is outrageous that County Mental Health is cutting life supports for the mentally ill, those least able to advocate for themselves and find alternatives to the services that are now provided.

  • This crisis is a human travesty. Moreover, many in our community believe the money to save the programs has been made available, and worse even, others believe the cause of the cuts is the result of STATE cuts. Neither is accurate! The problem is financial mismanagemnt within the county department of mental health. AS someone said during the press conference, "it's time for the county to look INSIDE itself for the needed fixes, adn do it on the backs of human beings."

  • Please come to the rally on April 18 from 2-4 at Alameda Park to support the Mental Health Community!

  • Please do not make these cuts. Support our community!

  • It seems to me that County Mental Health needs to be audited to see exactly where their money has gone. Has it gone to line some executive's pocket? How can they decimate mental health programs yet leave administration untouched? It's time for a real shakeup.
