Strange aircraft.  The fuselage looks like it is from an Airbus 330. The engines look like they were snatched from a BOEING 707 and the undercarriage from a MD DC-10.

Not always, the Il-96 (really a re-engined Il-86, with a more efficient wing and new avionics), and some other new ones use the high bypass turbofans.
