Update : Tutorial now available
Giving an effect of destruction. Here is what I managed to do with the Blender Game Engine and the Logic Editor. For now. The Blendercookie.com tutorial on "how to create a simple game" gave me the idea, like relations betwen objects. Also the building you see in the video has been made thanks to the awesome tutorial on blenderguru.
Music : Chopin, Prélude Op 28 N° 15

  • HOW DID YOU DO THE COMPOSITING(the color distortion on the sides of the video)

  • @fajardolendel With a Lens Distortion node. Node editor -> Compositing -> Add -> Distord -> Lens Distortion. If you increase the "Dispertion" value, you get this effect.

  • Is it a real game??

  • @Sk8tr32111 No, I only used game logic to give an impression that it's breacking using the physic engine of blender and nodes (actions). althgough It could be animated "real-time" in the game engine as shards are pre-made (again, not real time destruction) I rendered it using blender internal.

  • could you make a tutorial?:)

  • @likamuffin There's one already ;)

  • @Margalus89

idk, i first used blender, its very good for making games and that kind of stuff, but 3ds max is much better, i have used both, and everyone i know who uses 3d programs preffers 3ds max rather than blender, its just a recommendation

  • @qurexema go to blender.com and go to download section. Then just download the one that seems right for your computer and enjoy!

  • @megatazziboy264 how do i get it then

  • @qurexema its free

  • ok so your showing us real life...can we see the blender now?
