I have been working on Monika and Corina and they are now tame enough to come up to me out if hiding when you open their cage! They take food from my fingers now and I have introduced small agility to Monika because she is a Burmese but she will never be quite as good as her champion parents especially father!!

  • Well Done! They seem to love your company! I am editing my gerbil taming video which hopefully will be up shortly.

  • my gerbils eat out of my hand too, actually if i put a sunflower seed in the middle of my palm, my gerbil will sit on my hand and eat it, its so cute:)

  • very cute gerbils!!!

  • I've only had my gerbils for 2 days and they're unbelievably tame.

  • CUTE!!!!!!!!!! My gerbils are pretty tame too! lol

  • @meirasanya a great waay to hold your gerbils is to sit in a bathtub (without water obviouly) and just let your gerbils run around the bath, then they will get used to your smell and climb on you. to get thm in the bath, when they are in a tube, pick up the tube and cover over the ends and carry it ;) enjoy :d

  • Gerbils are great companions! I love my gerbil. When I'm older I hope to have like, five.

  • Is that the Pets At Home gerbilarium? Mine will eat from my hands, and even step out onto my hand from the middle level to get a treat (as long as one paw remains on dry land), but still aren't happy with being handled. One of them, however, will sit on my hand or shoulder long enough to eat a choc drop, which is a start
