Visited this beautiful mountain on 2 June 2009. Traveling by car to Mt. Bromo will take you about 4 hours from the Surabaya Airport. Woke up at 3.30am. Took the jeep and reached the viewing point at around 4.30 am. On weekend, the place can be very crowded. Be sure to reach there early to spot a good camera location. The weather on the top of mountain can be very chilly. Warm clothing, hat and gloves are preferred.
