This is a nice method for teaching a new knitter, since it's just the knit stitch but without sliding the stitch off the left needle. It's a lovely cast on. I find it easier to work than Cable cast-on, and like to substitute it when that method is called for.

  • OMG - who did teach you to do it??? it is so wrong and take tons of time!

  • Your video was clear and concise, showed me why I had to reposition my right needle all the time as I was casting on -- I was going into the loop incorrectly. Also, your slip knot perfectly duplicated the hundreds of drawings in the books, except it was animated!
