the things with Romney is that he doesn't "toot his own horn" much, so he's not going to go around talking about all the ways he's helped people. I was hoping that this story would come out more and people would start to realize that he really does care about people. having money doesn't make you evil, it's about where your heart is at. He's helped a lot of people in a lot of ways and I just hope people start to see that in him.

@huy801 a couple months back he wrote out a check to a woman struggling to pay her bills. As she was telling him her story, he asked how much she needed to pay a certain bill, and then he wrote out a check to her for that amount. He can't help every single individual, but he has helped people in more ways than people know. He also gave 16.4% of his income to charity...Rick and Newt gave only 2%-3%. there are a lot of misconceptions out there about Romney and it's really too bad.

Romney is a good man! I have to admire him for putting himself out there in politics. I don't think I would want to go through that kind of scrutiny. People just bash you and try to make you look selfish when your successful!

@LLGoldstein Sorry but who's the troll? Learn how to read what's actually written and not assume things. I never said that the life of the 14 year old girl was any less important, I just want to take the stand that I don't see him doing the same thing for anyone else. I don't see this is not a true act of kindness toward others, he only helped this individual because he knew her family. I dont see him closing down shop and helping a random stranger.
