Several supercells developed across the midwest on the night of Saturday, June 5th, 2010. There were several tornadoes associated with these storms: initial reports indicate that one could have been up to one mile wide.

Legend:
Purple - Tornado Warning
Red - Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Yellow/Orange - Flash flood warning

I apologize for the low quality HD. The video is 3 transcodes from the source and hence there's some loss of data.

  • I live in Edwardsville, IL. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Storm after storm after storm. Where did this guy get this radar at?

  • @JCT94LA The application is RadarHD, from weathertap. The data came from the KLOT NEXRAD site. Thanks for the interest!
