ACA hurricane siren kistler park monthly test.

yea, it didnt go off at 11:00 like normal, but it went off at 1:OO.

sirens heard: Sentry 10V, 2001-130 (new), another new 2001, a distant thunderbolt 1000T, and the ACA hurricane in the picture your loking at. the rotater has been welded, so it dosent rotest, and for some odd reaso it is kind of quiet, and hi piched. there isnt many ACA hurricanes, so finding an active one is really rare, so i got lucky, there is anoth one, dpcomm1 tried to film, but it failed to sound :(

@doverpoint1 this is a very Loud siren when it has its compresser running desent. its just the chopper

@trainz675 Okay, the Tbolt is rated at 125 db at 100 feet while the Hurricane is rated at 130 db at 100 feet. I've stood near both of them before on a test day and the Hurricane is WAY louder. I mean come on, it has a 30 hp blower and 2 separate choppers which gets rid of distortion (VS 7.5 hp on the tbolt with a single chopper with 2 rows of ports which adds distortion and makes the siren quieter. It's hard to explain how sound works)
