Books that aren't well-cared for get yellowish easily, especially paperbacks or softbound. To make your books last longer and to prevent the early minting of the paper, wrapping the cover of the book with plastic is the answer.

In wrapping books, the thicker the plastic cover you use, the better. Keeping the sides of the plastic straight is also a must to make it better-looking.

See how I do book-covering in this video. ^_^

  • -uses it for my manga- XD

  • @xoxkuroshitsujigrell I also do this for my manga ^_^ Though there are 10 more to be covered....

  • Great video! One thing though - I've been plastic-covering my books since heaven knows when, but I notice that after a year or so the plastic covers shrunk and as a result my pretty books get squished in! Do you face similar problems? I use those PVC clear plastic sheets that comes in big, long rolls to cover my books.

  • @eriquerique Hmmm.... nothing similar had happened to me. Maybe it's because you tape the sides too tight? Or maybe the way the books are stored.

  • why is it necessary to write those info on the cover of the book?

  • @kimoz17 So that people would know that the book is mine, and I would know when I bought the book ^_^

  • @eriquerique what you should do is to add a centimeter or so of space in the edges before folding it.

  • This video helped me a lot to cover my Harry potter books and my other books cause I usually let my tita cover my books :))

  • @AlyssaMihara where can u get the plastic though?

  • As much as I like Haruhi, the music was a bit annoying. The camera was kinda far to get the full details so I have to guess some steps, but generally, it's helpful. :)

  • Hare Hare yukai FTW.

    Kawaii desu XDXDXDXDXDXD
