Carlton Palmer LIES about MTFC ownership issues live on BBC

Carlton Palmer, friends with Mansfield Town FC owner Keith Haslam for @ 17 years, gives his 'expert' opinion as a Match of the Day pundit during pre-match analysis of the Mansfield Town vs Middlesbrough FA Cup 4th round tie.

Palmer's opinions are just that, and are extremely bias towards Keith Haslam, given his long-standing friendship with him, and therefore bias AGAINST the vast majority of MTFC supporters who are fully informed of the politics of the situation at the club, and do not need the BBC to give free platform to Mr Palmer to do Mr Haslam's bidding for him in front of a live, national television audience.

Rather a large foul-up by the BBC, allowing their Match of the Day programme to be used for political reasons by Mr Palmer in this manner, and said ex-Mansfield manager also abusing his position as MOTD analyst in doing so.

@seventiesclassic For one saying he(Haslam) did a "fantastic job".Haslam took a dividend of £3 million out of the club at a time when the club did not have the assets to afford such a huge loss of money, and Haslam bought the ground and put it in his name, meaning that Mansfield now have to pay an extortionate rent rate to play in a ground that belonged to them about 100 years before Haslam got involved in the running of the club. Thank god he's gone, and the new owner appears to be sane.
