Thanks for the vid - my understanding is that we don't die, we just leave this body and go on to another body and those people who left their bodies will do the same, it only becomes a tragedy when we are attached to this body as being "me" or "you". Any body is just a temporary abode for the eternal soul and in terms of infinity one human lifetime whether it is 20 years or 100 years is less than a click of a finger. The important thing is to escape this cycle and return to Krishna.
They may have been killed , but a better life could have been waiting for them - a better birth - beauty or wealth even liberation. Once you're time is up - a new birth awaits.
The murderer will be dealt with by Yamaraj (god's police force) - and will given the appropriate punishment in hell by the Yamadutas - assitants of Yamaraj.
They are not dead - the soul is eternal - indestructible , imperishable.
yo..i hear what ur saying man. my opinion, life is a test, a sort of a period to do right wat u did wrong before...n death is a way out. Death shudnt be viewd as a punishment but rather a way out of this mess, if u hadnt dun enuff good to get u a ticket to heaven then its bad..u gona ave to come back,(generally like a game u only climb up a level, nvr down, u dunt come back as a worse life form, just human but prob more suffering) but if u had done enuff then ur on ur way to one of the heavens.
This world is just one giant wishfulfilling machine. Once we become homesick, we look for ways back to Him. Karma binds us to birth and death--helping us fulfill our wishes for things and experiences--or freeing us as we learn to let go of pain and separation. When we surrender, we let go of desire and attachment to fall so deeply in Love that He fulfills all desire. In truly surrendering ego, we are freed also of karma for we have arrived home in the company of the Beloved.
For me, that Beloved is Krishna. There is no more blame and no more doing for I give all away to Him. Everything in life becomes yoga-- union with God. In surrender, no one does anything but it is only God acting through us. Life can be a blessed trip through increasingly awakened states where we learn we are not who we thought we were and we do not do anything of ourselves-- it all belongs to Him. No blame. No reward or punishment: only the Beloved in me and through me and around me.
Surrender brings transcendence and the ticket home. Karma is only a temporary phenomena for those of us not yet awake to know that we are surrounded by His Love and buy into the false I. Take the path that is before you and find this Love! Jai Sri Krsna!
you have to look at it as burning karma....its not always that you are learning a lesson...its that you are burning your bad Karma...so like you said, they were innocent and were shot...so whats to learn in that...in this case you have to look at it as burning off bad karma...so in the next life they will have less bad karma to burn and therefore be a little closer to reaching the ultimate goal which is to return back to life with Krsna (go to heaven)...
i dnt think the right word is "deserved it", they were just paying a re-action made by a prior action, maybe from this life or the one or ones before.
It's not that the ones killed were the bad ones, and that the persons that didnt get killed or harmed they're good ppl. Karma doesnt mean it's only the bad stuff being repaid, it's everything, u did something good, u get something good, wether material, physical, etc.
