I am a supervisor for a bus garage. Talking on the cell phone will operating the school bus is a fireable offense.

When I was in high school the driver would let her 2 year old son sit in her lap while she talked on her cell phone and would be going about 70 mph down the highway in the morning before sunrise.

I've seen parents do much worse than what these bus drivers do with kids in the car. Aside from the red light, none of these drivers took their eyes off the road. I've seen parents, with kids in their car, duck down or turn around into the back seat while still moving. Who do you complain to for that?

if anyone was endangering the lives of those kids it would have been the news media that was in their undercover vehicle because i dont think that driver was honking the horn for nothing the news vehicle was probaly driving eratically.
