i downloaded Wotlk of interjnet for Private server when i launch it it says

"launcher requires write permission to the world of warcraft registry key to succesfully locate and run the game. please enable write access to the registry key using and Adminstrator account." WTF DO I DO!!!

@SpZzFiSh hmm im not sure, i've never come across an error like that before sorry this is so late but if it helps, i would try running it from the wow.exe as administrator and if that doesnt work try repairing it with the icon inside the wow folder

the wow.exe gives me another error ...

and i go to repair "reset and check files" it says unabled to repair plz uinstall wow

check files and repair doesnt do anything and if i uninstall it says "Uninstall.xml" could not be read ......

@SpZzFiSh then the version you downloaded off the internet is broken, your options are either unstall it and reinstall with the same thing, which will either fix it or give you the same problem, or you could just download a whole new client of the game try piratebay . org

Hey i play on retail daily and i wanted to start playing a good private server again, it has patch 3.1.1 i put the there realmlist in the enUS folder and i go on open WoW and i log in it says login server down can anyone help?

if the server is down, then the server just might be down and its a bad private server, make sure that your version of wow matches the version of the private server your trying to join, it does matter.
