and one more thing i wrote down a list of his songs because i was showing prove. you stated that matt just writes about drugs and satanist soshow me 5 songs or more that matt has written that are about satanist

and like you said Matt has more written songs and for that not every song is going to be so good.but he has more varieties of songs, he just doesnt write about love he writes about deaths,stalkers,growing up,etc.. and also you gotta remember that their is people out there who suffer from drug addiction and other addictions and can relate to matts writting. not everything is about love.

To be honest i also prefer Dan voice and matter of fact i think Derek sings better than Dan and Matt. but when it comes to writing, Matt is just ahead of both Dan and Derek. Matt has such unique metaphors and his writing is so poetic. If you set aside the voice and just read through the lyrics you will see what i am talking about. one example is "Nose Over Tail" in my opinion i think this song kills many love songs out there even tho this song is so simple "crack my head open" haha love that.

@KCgonewild Matt and Dan have both released fantastic works and perhaps it's simply because Matt's are more numerous that I find his 'bomb' rate to be higher. Or maybe it's because I like Dan's voice better and his subject matter is more relatable for me. Don't get your panties in a twist.

@KCgonewild I think Dine, Dine My Darling is a fine inclusion on the album, and Dead on the Floor is probably my favourite track. You can list every song in their discography (which you seem eager to do in order to prove your Trio-cred for some reason) but the simple fact that Matt has a higher volume of his work included doesn't mean that he's a better writer.

@TsuruchiMoriya just like this Addiction Dine,Dine My Darling isn't that great of a song either and what do you mean Matt tunes are just about drugs and being satanist? have you heard Dead on the floor,Fine without you,bleeder,stupid kid,sorry about that,emma,over and out? and not to mention he wrote Demons away and good fucking bye wich are such incredible songs. and matt does write a lot about drugs but he writes it in such unique way that you can relate it to love.

@KCgonewild You're entitled to your opinion, but I feel Dan is simply the better writer between the two. This Addiction is honestly not even that great a song. It's got the power start that most of their albums do and then... oh boy, comparing love to drugs. Dan's songs are about things most can relate to - usually heartache. Matt's tunes are about drug use and being a satanist. They're both good, but I think Dan has more talent.
